Justin Sconza and Colin Yarck together are Walter Meego, a DJ/band based out of Chicago, Illinois.

With already FOUR EPs (Walter Meego, Hollywood, Romantic, and Usually), their debut album, Voyager is set for release on May 27, 2008.

I've got an advance copy a few months ago, so please note that the final mix may in fact be different. Please also note that I did not receive an approved album artwork, so the mock-up artwork I've included here is not the final album artwork.

I'm glad to see that Meego are not just about dance beats, but sings on many of their songs. The lyrics aren't "dum dum" either, they actually fit and sounds really great in accordance to the music.

Among the tracks worth looking into: "Forever" could be a good single. The more boogiable song, "Wanna Be a Star" features an infectious beat in the middle of the song. It's so good, I may have to pick this song to represent them.

Besides "Tomorrowland" and "In My Dreams" (which makes sense that this is the final song to end the album), their other songs are consistently dancy. As with a lot of electronic music that I find, I need to be in the mood to listen to it.

If you have the need for dance, you need to do yourself a favor and check out Walter Meego.

Keep an eye out for their debut album, Voyager, on May 27th on Almost Gold Records (who you may have heard of Peter Bjorn and John is on their label). Hear more music from them on 'space.
